Saudi Education Minister Tours WenTech's SMART Classroom in CLEC

H.E. Yousef Al-Benyan, minister of education of Saudi Arabia, led a delegation to the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) under China’s Ministry of Education and attended a Sino-Saudi higher education exchange event. The delegation included H.E. Abdulrahman A. AI-Harbi, Saudi ambassador to China and Nasser Mohammed Al-Aqili, deputy minister of education of Saudi Arabia, Yu Yunfeng, director of  the CLEC, Zhao Lei, deputy director-general of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges, ministry of education of China, and Hu Zhiping, deputy director of the CLEC welcomed the delegation. Leaders from nine prestigious Chinese universities, including Peking University, also participated. During the visit, Minister Al-Benyan and his delegation toured the AI SMART Classroom, a joint initiative by CLEC and WenTech.

Minister Al-Benyan, Director Yu, and Deputy Director-General Zhao delivered remarks at the event. The two sides signed a cooperation agreement on Chinese teaching resources for Saudi secondary schools, marking a new milestone in bilateral education collaboration.

The delegation also visited a Chinese cultural experience center and observed a demonstration teaching in the WenTech SMART Classroom, showcasing cross-border synchronized teaching, AI-driven learning analytics, and real-time semantic analysis to enhance personalized instruction. Peter He, WenTech’s Key Account Manager for Overseas Division, participated in hosting the delegation.
